This is Bamburgh castle
I've been writing Harry Potter fanfics since mid 2009 and I hope that I'm improving.
My stories are (with one exception) all set in the same single future history. I hope to chart the journey Harry, Ginny and their friends take through their lives. I am concentrating on the nineteen years between the battle and the epilogue, but in no particular order.
I keep to canon.
These are JKR's characters, she knows them better than anyone, so if she says:
"No! No! Please don't fancy Draco. I've given you an array of pleasant characters." (Bloomberg) don't expect my Draco to be pleasant.
and when she says that Ginny is:
"pretty much the ideal girl for Harry. She's tough, not in an unpleasant way, but she's gutsy ... she's funny, and I think that she's very warm and compassionate ... Ginny and Harry ... are total equals. They are worthy of each other, then, by definition, she's right.
I'm not JKR, and to change her characters would be disrespectful. If you think I have, tell me.
Most (though not all) of my stories feature Harry and Ginny. Most also feature Ron and Hermione. They were, after all, inseperable for seven books. However, I'm guilty of an unnatural fondness for Lavender Brown.
I will be (slowly) uploading my stories here over the next few weeks.
( Story TimelimeCollapse )
Her friends are getting older, getting married, and having children. Lavender Brown doesn’t even have a boyfriend, not a proper boyfriend anyway. What she has are issues, and these days most of them are Moon-related.
This is a sequel to "Bare" though you don’t need to read that story first.
Meet Mark Moon, a bailiff in the Department of Magical Law Enforcement (Scottish Office). Mark has girl problems, or a problem girl, he isn't certain which. The girl is named Lavender.

This was the first story I completed. (It probably shows.)
I didn't record who did this banner for me (sorry, artist), but I think that it was MaskedMuggle
